This work consists in the manipulation of leather with paper and glue to obtain as final product the saddles of horses and different animals that usually are mounted.

The work of the leather consists of separating the skin from the animal and then treating it to be able to make a textile or decorative use with it.

Leather working consists of the art of working leather in its different forms Here we see a horse saddle. the skins of the flaps, girths and stirrups are usually made from the skin of cattle, pigs, sheep or deer; cowhide is the most common type of skin used to make saddles. Leather jumping saddles can be made of different materials, including beech wood, fibreglass, plastic, laminated wood, steel, aluminium and iron and of course leather. the technique used is the old traditional manufacturing technique for saddles. In medieval times, Spain became one of the most important exporters of western saddles to the Spanish colonies in America.
