2. The technique
This work consists of the manipulation of precious metals in order to obtain replics of Visigothic jewels. such metals are gold, silver, bronze… and with them you get to create earrings, necklaces all set in the Visigothic era of the peninsula.
3. Used materials
Solid forms are obtained mainly by lost-wax casting and coining. Hollow tubular shapes are mainly obtained by drawing sheet metal on a copper or aluminium core. Solid wire and sheet metal forms are mainly obtained by drawing and rolling. Hollow shapes are cast in lost wax, stamping and electroforming. The decision to opt for a hollow, solid or mixed design will depend on many considerations.

After inheriting his father’s trade from a prestigious Seville goldsmith who opened his workshop in the 1940s. he says his childhood memories are related to this work. Today our master is juan josé marmolejo one of the most important goldsmiths in spain. His most important works are: the adornments of the holy week sculptures the reproduction of the crown of the Visigothic kings.
